What’s On – Nice and Antibes

Practice, qualifying and racing take place from Thrsday through to Sunday.

Villa Very Bocage is a great base for the Monaco Grand Prix, access to the Grand Prix is very easy from the village.
You won’t even need to drive if you prefer not to!

Bus then train will take you about 1h 24 minutes if you take the Line 500 bus to Cagnes-sur-Mer station.
Driving takes just 43 minutes through stunning countryside.

As a family we prefer to drive and then travel by train as parking is much easier in Cagnes-sur-Mer

The Cannes film festival is within easy reach of Villa Vert Boccage. You can drive if you are in a hurry or take the Line 500 bus to Cagnes-sur-Mer and catch the train if your intention is to sample the local cuisine and fine wines.

1st or 2nd Sunday of January: Feast of the nose. The truffle invite you into the mysterious world of the black truffle: Visit the plot truffle truffle dog demonstration, lectures, tastings, local market.

Early June: Feast department of agriculture “flavors and terroir.” Market with local producers of the department, demonstrations on agricultural trades and mouth, farm animals, entertainment. Planned restoration.

The first weekend of July: Feast. Three days of festivities during the weekend: Entertainment, convivial meals, dances and musical evenings.

The third Saturday of July: the Roman camp. This highly anticipated event is held annually outdoors in a beautiful setting. Craft market, aperitif, great friendly meal, musical and theatrical. Shuttles and refreshments.

The first or second Sunday in December: Christmas market of yesteryear. Feet in the straw in the magic of Christmas, a market of pure Provencal tradition. Crafts, entertainers, workshops, farm animals …

Mid-December: Market inaugural season truffles. Black diamond in the spotlight: Blessing of the harvest ceremony of the Brotherhood of Rabassiers, auction, market and local crafts.

From mid-December to mid-February: Weekly market of the nose. Every Friday afternoon from 14h to 16h30. The union of the department truffle sells its valuable crop and tasty black truffles.
